Iberian plastics sector strengthens international cooperation at Plastics & Rubber Spain 2026
March 11 and 12, 2026
At Plastics & Rubber Spain 2026, APIP joined forces with CEP - Centro Español de Plásticos and AVEP - Asociación Valenciana de Empresas del Plástico to reinforce strategic alignment and international cooperation within the framework of WUPA | World Union of Plastics Associations.
ANARPLA also joined this initiative, further strengthening Iberian representation in a platform that, since its launch by APIP at the Plastics Summit - Global Event 2025, has been bringing together a growing number of associations worldwide.
This joint presence highlights the commitment to WUPA’s key objectives:
- Building a global hub of scientific knowledge on plastics
- Promoting international cooperation among associations
- Strengthening trust and the sector’s reputation
- Communicating based on scientific evidence, combating misinformation
- Sharing scientific data and driving innovation
- Enhancing digital communication and global engagement
APIP would like to thank CEP and AVEP for their presence and contribution to this shared mission of giving the plastics sector a stronger, more transparent, and science-based voice.
Together, we reinforce the sector’s role in innovation, sustainability, and circularity.
