APIP General Assembly
March 24, 2026
On March 24, APIP brought its members together for the first General Assembly of the year, at a pivotal moment for the sector’s strategic realignment.
The session began at the Haven Nature Hotel & Villas with remarks by Amaro Lopes dos Reis, President of APIP, followed by the presentation of the 2025 Activity and Financial Report led by Joana Martins Mendes and Nuno Aguiar, Executive Director and Technical Director of APIP, respectively.
We would like to highlight the presence of Mr. Gonçalo Lopes, Mayor of Leiria, who addressed those present regarding the impacts of Storm Kristin, in a gesture of support and solidarity with the region’s businesses.
The session was complemented by a Side Event dedicated to critical issues for the industry, reinforcing the importance of anticipating trends and empowering companies in the current context:

- European Union Trade Agreements – Mercosur and India: Opportunities and Implications | Pedro Sousa, Department of International Economic Relations, Directorate-General for the Economy

- Launch of an ESG reporting platform for SMEs | Mariana Castro Lopes, Founder of Bsustain.
Pedro Paes do Amaral, Executive Vice President of APIP, closed the session, followed by a networking lunch.
