APIP participated as a partner in U!REKA Connects 2026, an international event sponsored by the U!REKA network and organized, for this edition, by the Lisbon Polytechnic.
This event brought together students, researchers, entrepreneurs, higher education institutions, and organizations from various European countries to promote innovation, collaboration, and the development of solutions to the challenges of the future.
As a representative of the Portuguese plastics industry, APIP believes that cooperation between industry, academia, and society is essential to accelerate innovation, promote knowledge transfer, and pave the way for a more competitive and sustainable future.
The event also served as an opportunity to promote the Sustainable Plastics Mobilizing Agenda, showcasing to an international audience the collaborative work being carried out in Portugal to create innovative and sustainable solutions for the plastics industry, thereby reinforcing the role of innovation as a driver of the transition to a more circular economy.
