Sustainable Packaging: From Measurement to Decision. How Can We Make More Informed Choices?
October 29, 2026
This was the challenge that took center stage at the roundtable discussion organized by APIP at Logipack 2026, bringing together different perspectives from across the packaging value chain.
MEASURE • INTERPRET • COMPARE • DECIDE
Four fundamental steps for transforming data and scientific evidence into more sustainable decisions, taking into account the function of packaging, its environmental performance, and the context in which it is used.~
From innovation in materials to industrial production, from product protection and preservation to circularity and consumer information, the discussion underscored the importance of an integrated approach capable of balancing sustainability, functionality, cost, and competitiveness.
