APIP participated in the 3rd Portuguese Conference on Marine Litter

APIP - Portuguese Association of the Plastics Industry, represented by Nuno Aguiar, participated in the 3rd CPLM - Portuguese Conference on Marine Litter and Microplastics, organized by APLM, which took place at the Pavilhão do Conhecimento in Lisbon on the 21st and 22nd of September.
Speaking on the panel dedicated to Policies and Voluntary Initiatives, the Technical Director of APIP presented the OCS – Operation Clean Sweep program and the results of its implementation in Portugal. It is an international initiative available to the plastics value chain for the prevention and control of pellet loss to the environment, an initiative that is managed nationally by the Association.
